I strongly believe that everyone is a gorgeous flower. We are different and unique but together, we all make the world a colorfully beautiful place.
To blossom, a little flower, itself, starts to slowly open up its petals and reveal its inner beauty to the world. No more hiding. Similarly, people are blooming too. We are going through the same process in which we shed all our fear of changes, doubts, pains and are preparing to leave out their comfort zones to go where we have never gone before. It’s not like we are changing themselves completely to become a “brand new” person! It’s more about growing into a person that we truly are – the hidden beauty.
The other reason why I chose the image of a blooming flower is that it’s the symbol of an inside-out beauty. And blossom is also an inside-out process. “A flower must bloom inside first before revealing its beauty to the world.” Just like us, to have a joyful and happy blooming life, we cannot just depend on outer forces as happiness is an inside job.
And finally, “A flower does not bloom for itself only, but for the world”. Once the flower has bloomed, the floral scent can travel in the breeze to be smelled from miles away; or as the poet Kahlil Gibran beautifully put it: “To the bee, a flower is the fountain of life, and to the flower, the bee is a messenger of love.” Flowers are a sweet nutrition source for honey bees – one of the most invaluable and important creatures in natural ecosystems and a key contributor to natural ecosystem functions. I mean, besides being beautiful themselves, flowers also are positive and invaluable impacts on the processes that govern life on Earth. In the same way, being humans, we grow, we develop and then we contribute to our communities and our world by positive vibes via physical and emotional supports.
I know it’s scary in the beginning with lot of uncertainties but just gather up all our courage and bloom, we can now become the person we always wanted to be. Now as you see, we’re not so different from the flowers. We both bloom into such beautiful things that make this world even more amazing!
The fact is not all the flowers in the garden are blooming and manifesting their beauty yet. Some blooming processes take more time than others, so be patience. Sometimes the ones that take the longest to bloom end up being the most beautiful or strongest. You may not think that this is true, but it really is, trust me! Therefore, A Blooming Life was born to help them find their inner strength and core values; and use them to untie all the resistances that are holding them back from a great life that they all deserve.
